Another Way

Was every much impressed with the way Budokon international was set up which is a fusion of Karate and Yogic postures, celebrities like Jessica Alba has claimed it to be the secret behind her shape, I came to know about this art through an article in the newspaper, I was instantly hooked to it because it had almost had the same fusion which I had intended to have when I start a club on my own because I had planned of combining Mind Workouts such as NLP and Meditation which I consider as the most important aspect with Realist Self defense techniques. I firmly believe that Mind is everything, while learning martial arts if you not mentally prepared than all that you have learned while go in the drains in the time of need you can write some self help marital art books but on the ground the knowledge would be minimum, you can even teach someone what has been taught to you but it would be without any grace without the magic of the art, you will be producing just a copy of yours. Meditation should be given more importance especially in martial, its always mind over matter, it cannot be the other way

Escape made Easy

I would like to teach a simple self defense technique, don't know if I can call it a full contact or a sports format method but its damn simple and very very lethal. This is my first Self defense tips that I give online :) we got hold of this technique during trying out some Judo and Jujitsu moves and to my dismay this easiest technique to attack or to release your self from your opponents lock, as I have told many times this is not the move you can follow if your are into sports format and if it all you are in sports format there wont be any need to use this cause real life fighting scenarios happen only when you practice beyond the Dojo.

So here is the technique: Imagine someone catching hold of your from behind, no matter how strong he his - there are many moves in a regular martial arts syllabus like using your heel by thrusting it to your opponents leg ?( which is really effective and I have had a positive review after my student trying it in a real life situatuaion) or raising your heal to your opponents groin, which is also a preferred move, if you think you can manage with this simple tricks then its fine, but if you are looking for another move to escape from his clutches then here it is, "simply PINCH his inner thigh" and enjoy the brat's pain :) yes that is it! a simple pinch to a mans inner thigh will cause more pain, since it is one of the most sensitive areas in the body, if you still don't believe in this try it yourself or with some of your close friends, this is the only move which I am asking you to try it on your close friends cause this causes no permanent damage, the pain is temporary. But don't forget you should be quick enough to attack him after he releases you or should be quick enough to run or to scream for help. I suggest you to pinch and as soon as he releases punch a strong blow to his chin and flew the area.

I common tip which I give out to my students is avoid going in lonely roads cause prevention is always better than cure and if it is unavoidable then practice these simple moves which is not time consuming

Good Technique for sure

I confess this is one of the best technique :) no practice needed whats so ever!
Step 1: Act
Step 2: Divert
Step 3: Attack
Step 4: AND THE IMPORTANT STEP, RUN
There are 18 important moves in the ancient martial art Kalaripayattu and many believe this is the 19th step -- RUN
